Survivor Outreach Services: Operation Love Letters (OLL)
Operation Love Letters was created to commemorate our Fallen Soldier’s "Love for Country," by paying tribute to our love for them. It is a day to celebrate with Survivors through their expressions of love for their Fallen Soldier.
2nd Annual Operation: Love Letters | 6 -14 February 2016
Army Reserve Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) locations will host the 2nd annual Operation Love Letters event from 6 -14 February 2016.
Operation Love Letter originated four years ago, as the brainchild of Survivors in the Orlando/Tampa area, with the support of Orlando Army Reserve Survivor Outreach Services Staff. OLL has evolved as an event whereby Survivors celebrate their Fallen Soldier’s love for country by paying tribute to their love for them. Survivors and their children gather to write love letters, script poetry, and share stories about their Fallen Soldier. OLL celebrates the beauty of life while encouraging resilience through spiritual encouragement and renewed hope as the event culminated with the symbolic release of the Survivor love letters touting emotions of love for their Soldiers.
If you have any questions regarding Operation Love Letters please feel free to email SOS here.
