Eligibility
Active duty Uniformed Service family members, Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) members and/or their family members are eligible for the TDP if the sponsor has at least 12 months remaining on his or her service commitment with the parent Service at the time of enrollment. Benefits Overview
-The TDP's contract year runs from February 1 through January 31
-The annual maximum payment is $1,200 per enrollee per contract year, for non-orthodontic services
-Payment for certain diagnostic and preventive services is not applied against the annual maximum
-There is a lifetime maximum of $1,500 per eligible member for orthodontic treatment
-If a member receives orthodontic services, payments for these services will not exceed $1,500 during the member's eligibility lifetime
-Orthodontic diagnostic services will be applied to the $1,200 annual maximum

Enrollment Basics
There are two plans available through the TDP, a single plan and a family plan. New enrollees must continue in the TDP for at least 12 months (lock-in period) unless enrollment is completed within 30 days of mobilization order date. Anyone failing to pay premiums or who disenrolls for other than a valid disenrollment reason will be prohibited from re-enrolling in the program for 12 months (lock-out period).  More enrollment basics.

Enrolling in TDP
Enrollment in the TDP is handled by United Concordia. Enrollment is initiated by the sponsor and is accomplished by completing a TDP Enrollment Form and submitting the required payment to United Concordia. Enrollment steps.
