Army Spouse Employment Parnership  

Army Spouse Employment Partnership (ASEP) has become the pillar upholding and implementing the guidance of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002 (A mandate to increase military spouse employability) as well as House Resolution 2586, which direct the Secretary of Defense to "seek to develop partnerships, enhance employment opportunities for spouses of members of the armed services." Military Spouses Have New Online Education Resource  
The National Military Family Association (NMFA) has launched a comprehensive online resource for military spouses committed to their education. This newly-developed web resource gives spouses the information needed to achieve their education goals. Visitors to the website, www.nmfa.org/SpouseEd , will find detailed information about starting their education; choosing and/or transferring schools, scholarships, grants, financial aid, in-state tuition, resources for foreign-born spouses, mobile careers and more.

Military Spouse Fellowship for the Accredited Financial CounselorSM Program  

The National Military Family Association (NMFA) in association with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®) and the NASD Investor Education Foundation is pleased to announce applications are being accepted for the Military Spouse Fellowship for the Accredited Financial Counselor® Program. This program will provide 200 military spouses with the education necessary to enter the financial counseling career field.
